Making Your Own Homemade Face Wash
Having issues trusting products that you buy from the shop, specifically for your skin? Well, you are not alone with that concern. A lot of us have the same issues as you have because you never know which product might bring a skin break out. Buying everything from the market is not a wise option, especially when you know it can be full of harmful chemicals. Chemicals can harm your sensitive skin intensely if they don’t suit your skin type. Another disadvantage of company face wash products is that you can never be sure about the ingredients, no matter how much it claims to be original; you never know what is hidden inside the packaging. With so much on head, it is better that we turn towards a natural life style. To start off with, how about making your own homemade face wash ? We have an amazing recipe to make a homemade face wash containing ingredients that you can easily find in your kitchen. These are cheap, yet highly effective.
What you need to make the dry mix:
- Ground ¼ cup oatmeal in a blender until it takes the shape of your desired texture
- 2 tablespoons of powdered milk
- 4 tablespoons of wheat germ
- 2 tablespoons of ground and dried Calendula/chamomile
-Mix all the ingredients together, and pack them in an air tight container.
What you need to make the oil mix:
- 50 ml macadamia/avocado oil
- 30 ml wheat germ oil
- 20 ml castor oil
- 5 drops of geranium/lavender oil
Mix these oils together and store them in a jar.
These are two easy recipes anyone can make. Now all you have to do to apply this face wash is to take a small amount of the dry mix in your palm, pour the oil mix over it and gently exfoliate your skin with the face wash. Once you wash your face, you will find your skin to be instantly soft and smooth. The dryness of your skin would certainly go away and you will feel your skin to be as almost brand new! Applying the face wash isn’t a difficult part – just keep in mind that you have to combine the mixes to apply them. You can also change the proportion of ingredients according to how your skin reacts to what. Some people might find the oil mix too oily for their skin, in such case minimize the quantity of castor oil – if your condition is the opposite, and increase its proportion.
